New Delhi .In the second T20 match played between India and New Zealand, the Indian team overcame difficult circumstances and won. Young batsmen Tilak Verma and Nitish Kumar Reddy played important roles in the match. At one time, after the early wickets of the Indian team fell, it seemed that the match would go out of their hands, but both the batsmen changed the course of the match by striking a balance of restraint and aggression. Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali praised the performance of the Indian players and called Tilak Verma the real hero of the victory.

Analyzing the match, Basit Ali said that when the Indian team was in a difficult situation, Tilak Verma batted with responsibility. According to him, it was not easy to handle the innings after the initial wicket fell, but Tilak maintained his composure under pressure and worked to bring the team back into the contest. He cited Tilak's batting as an important reason for India's victory.

Basit Ali especially praised Tilak's strategy. He said that the batsman did not take risks every time to play big shots. Instead, he took the score forward by taking singles and doubles and made good use of small boundaries. In this manner, along with saving wickets, Tilak also maintained the pace of scoring runs. According to Basit, such understanding in difficult situations takes the team closer to victory.

Other young players of the Indian team also made important contributions in the match. Naman Dheer and Nitish Kumar Reddy came down the order and scored runs quickly. These innings played an important role in India's comeback. Basit Ali also praised both the players and said that the young batsmen of the Indian team showed their ability under pressure.

Basit Ali also expressed his opinion on captain Shreyas Iyer's decision to send Vaibhav Suryavanshi to bat at number three in this match. He appreciated this strategy. However, he also said that if Ishan Kishan is fit and available, the composition of the playing eleven of the Indian team may change. In such a situation, the order of players and team composition will be monitored in the upcoming matches.

On the other hand, Basit Ali also raised questions on the strategy of New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner. Santner took four wickets while bowling, but despite this the New Zealand team could not keep the match in its favor. According to Basit, New Zealand lost the victory due to lapse in some strategic decisions. He emphasized that in limited overs cricket, the outcome of the match cannot be considered decided till the last ball.

Basit Ali also underlined the strength of the lower middle order of the Indian team. According to him, players like Tilak Verma, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Naman Dheer showed that they have the ability to handle the team even in difficult situations. This performance highlighted the role of young players and the usefulness of the bench strength of the Indian team. The victory against New Zealand also showed how important partnership, right strategy and better decisions under pressure are to bounce back in the match despite initial setbacks.
