The Indian Under-19 team is currently playing a 3-match Youth ODI series against Australia in Rajkot. Team India, playing under the captaincy of Lakshya Raichandani, has won the series by winning the first two matches. Now the third and last match is to be played on Wednesday (23 September). In this series, all eyes were on the sons of Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid but 3 Indian players have stolen the show.

Virender Sehwag's elder son Aryaveer Sehwag has scored 75 runs in 2 matches at a strike rate of 101.35. Whereas Rahul Dravid's younger son Anyav Dravid has scored 47 runs at a strike rate of 180.76. The performance of both Aryaveer and Anvay has been excellent but their shine has faded in front of these 3 players.

Yashvardhan Chauhan

Nagaland-born 17-year-old all-rounder Yashvardhan Chauhan has performed tremendously with ball and bat. He is on top in terms of both scoring runs and taking wickets. He has scored 176 runs in 2 matches and taken 4 wickets. Yashvardhan had taken 2 wickets for 28 runs after playing an innings of 54 runs in the first match. After this, he scored 122 runs in the second match and then took 2 wickets for 56 runs.

Chigurupathi Venkat

Fast bowler Chigurupathi Venkat has taken 4 wickets so far. In the second match, he took 3 wickets for 65 runs in 8 overs and played an important role in helping Team India win. Venkat had earlier also performed well in the Youth Test against Sri Lanka and took 5 wickets in the match. His specialty is that despite being a pacer, he can also do wicketkeeping.

VK Vineet

Left-handed batsman VK Vineet did not get a chance in the first match. He was played in the second match, in which he played an inning of 87 runs in 92 balls. During this, 4 fours and 6 sixes came from his bat. VK Vineeth also bowls part-time off spin. He scored 131 runs in the Youth ODI match against Sri Lanka in July this year.
