Sriharikota, September 4 (IANS) After the successful launch of GSLV-F17/EOS-05 mission, the scientists present at the spot and who contributed to this mission addressed the people and congratulated them.

LPSC Director Jayan N said, “GSLV has once again proved its mettle by achieving yet another spectacular success. My heartiest congratulations to everyone who has contributed to this wonderful achievement. On behalf of the Liquid Propulsion team, I am very happy to share that all six liquid stages – five restorable stages and one cryogenic stage – performed flawlessly and delivered the satellite into its intended orbit.”

IPRC Director Narayanan Appu said, “What a wonderful start to the day today with the success of the GSLV-F17/EOS-05 mission, that too before sunrise. The ISRO team has once again proved that they are adept at delivering space missions with the highest quality and precision.”

Spacecraft Director Imtiaz Ahmed said, “I would like to congratulate the entire ISRO team for this spectacular launch and for successfully delivering the heaviest and largest satellite of its class into the orbit by GSLV. EOS-05 is actually an Earth observation satellite from geosynchronous orbit. This satellite is unique and the only one of its kind, which has multiband operating capabilities.”

Raghavendra M R, Director, ITRAC, said, “Congratulations to the ISRO team for completing this wonderful mission. The satellite has been placed in a very precise orbit. Throughout the mission, our seven ITRAC ground stations tracked it. All the stations did a very good job and gave excellent data. I wish them all the best for the spacecraft in all its further operations.”

MCF Director Pankaj Damodar Killedar said, “The spacecraft is now in orbit and under our control. It is the 33rd satellite under the Master Control Facility. Congratulations to the launch team.”

VSC Director Dr. Rajiv said, “Hearty congratulations to everyone on the successful launch of the GSLV-F17/EOS-05 mission. We have achieved the perfect orbit. This achievement was possible because of the teamwork of the entire ISRO team members. I thank ISRO Chairman for his leadership and guidance. To achieve this, all the centers of ISRO worked like a family. All the team members made a lot of sacrifices to accomplish this mission. Worked overtime day and night with full commitment and dedication.”
