The Meteorological Department has predicted rain for the next few days in many parts of North India, Central India, Eastern India and North-Eastern states including Delhi. Yellow alert has been issued in Delhi regarding rain on 4th and 5th September. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in many states.


With the beginning of September in Delhi-NCR, the weather has once again taken a turn. The rainy season is expected to continue in the capital on 4th and 5th September. The sky will be cloudy. On September 4, the maximum temperature of Delhi is likely to be around 32 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 26 degrees Celsius.


Alert of heavy rain in UP and Uttarakhand


According to the Meteorological Department, there may be very heavy rain at some places in western Uttar Pradesh on September 4. Heavy rain is expected in Western Uttar Pradesh on 4th September and in Eastern Uttar Pradesh during 4th and 6th to 8th September. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarakhand from 4 to 9 September. During this period, warnings of storm and lightning have also been issued in some areas. There may be heavy rain at many places in Haryana and Chandigarh on September 4 and 5.


Rainy season in hilly states also


Heavy rain is expected at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on September 4. There may be heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh on 4th and 5th September. After this, rain is likely to continue at some places from 6th to 9th September.


Chance of heavy rain in Central India


There is an alert regarding rain in Madhya Pradesh also. There may be rain at many places in Western Madhya Pradesh from 4 to 7 September and in Eastern Madhya Pradesh from 4 to 8 September. Isolated very heavy rain is expected in both the areas on 4th and 5th September. At the same time, on September 4, there may be extremely heavy rain at some places in East Madhya Pradesh.


There is a possibility of heavy rain at many places in East Rajasthan on September 4. There may be sporadic rain in western Rajasthan from 4 to 6 September. In Punjab too, rain is expected at some places during September 4 to 9.


Rain in Bihar, Jharkhand and Bengal also


It may rain at many places in Bihar on 4th and 5th September and on 9th September. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the state during September 4 to 6 and September 8 to 9. There will be rain at many places in Jharkhand from September 4 to 7, while heavy rain may occur on September 5 and September 8-9.


Heavy rain is expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from September 4 to 8. West Bengal along the Ganga plains may receive heavy rains on September 4-5 and September 8-9. Scattered rains are likely to continue in Odisha between September 4 and 9.


Alert in North-East and Western India also


Arunachal Pradesh may receive very heavy rain at some places on September 4. Rain is expected at many places in Assam, Meghalaya and other northeastern states from September 4 to 9. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may also receive widespread rainfall during this period.


There is a possibility of rain at many places in Konkan and Goa in Western India from 4 to 9 September. Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Saurashtra-Kutch may also receive sporadic rain during this period. Warning of thunderstorm and lightning has also been issued at some places in Central Maharashtra.
