New Delhi. There is a tussle between Jammu and Kashmir CM and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah and BJP. BJP has condemned the allegations made by Omar Abdullah and called them irresponsible. BJP MP and spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that Omar Abdullah made baseless allegations. Either Omar Abdullah should give proof or apologize. The BJP MP said that Omar Abdullah has accused the BJP of trying to poach MLAs to hide its government’s failure and poor functioning in Jammu and Kashmir and divert attention from the issues.

Earlier, CM Omar Abdullah had alleged in a program in Srinagar on Saturday that BJP is trying to horse-trading its MLAs. Omar Abdullah had said that BJP’s greed for money and ministries failed. There, in a closed room, they are asking my MLA to come with us. When you come, we will give statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. Omar Abdullah had said that BJP officials and Supreme Court lawyers told the National Conference MLA in Jammu in a closed room that we will give you a ministry, Rs 20 to 30 crore and statehood. Omar had said that BJP feels that people’s trust is so cheap. You will not find a single person on the platform who is ready to sell trust for Rs 20 crore or Rs 100 crore.

Since forming the government in Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah has continuously raised the demand for giving it statehood. Omar had also met PM Narendra Modi on this issue. Omar Abdullah’s father and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah has announced to launch a campaign during the monsoon session of Parliament to get statehood. Amidst all this, now Omar Abdullah has accused the MLAs of trying to buy and sell them, and BJP is also furious. In such a situation, there are full chances of creating a ruckus within the Parliament between BJP and National Conference and its fellow opposition parties. Because the opposition is already alleging that BJP has worked to break TMC and Uddhav Thackeray’s party.
