Akhil Akkineni’s latest Telugu film Lenin has finally made its theatrical debut and it is now running in cinemas across India and overseas with good reviews going around.
The rural action drama released on July 10 and in a way it feels like yet another step forward in the actor’s career. Bhagyashri Borse is starring opposite Akhil in the main role as well.
So, according to Filmibeat reports it looks like the post theatrical streaming rights for Lenin have been picked up or acquired by the ZEE Network.

After its run in cinemas the film should start streaming on the same platform or so it’s more or less expected. Still, the producers haven’t fully confirmed that yet not really.
“Lenin” has now started kind of a theatrical journey with really encouraging box office numbers it seems. As per Sacnilk, the movie managed to collect around Rs 5.90 crore net in India on its first day itself.
That collection was pulled together from 2,028 shows all over the country, like somehow not just one city or area. In India, the gross figure hit Rs 6.73 crore but the net total came in at Rs 5.90 crore.
The movie did pretty well beyond borders too, raking in Rs 3 crore in gross revenue. Lenin wrapped up Day 1 with a world wide total of Rs 9.73 crore in gross collection, more or less.
