The England batter, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, left the crease, making a record in the history of the Women's T20 World Cup. On June 5, at Lord's, Wyatt Hodge left, scoring 8 runs in 9 balls with a boundary. The ball from Sutherland kissed her gloves before Beth Mooney took a stunning catch behind the stumps.


 


However, before departing, Danny Wyatt-Hodge became the first player in women's cricket to score over 300 runs in a single edition of the Women's World Cup. In the 2026 ICC T20 Women's World Cup, she played 7 matches, where she scored 302 runs.


 


In the tournament, she scored a hundred (105*), against Sri Lanka. She has two half-centuries to her name, batted with a strike rate of around 150, averaging 60.40.


 


The Australian keeper Beth Mooney scored 259 runs in the 2019-20 edition of the Women's World Cup. Her former teammate Meg Lanning scored 257 un the 2013-14 edition hosted in Bangladesh.
