Moradabad. The cricket tournament that has been going on for the last one month in Thakurdwara, Uttar Pradesh has finally come to an exciting end. The final match of this tournament, which started from May 22, 2026, was played on June 24, in which the BPK team performed brilliantly and captured the shining trophy. In the final match, BPK was facing BSK team, but BPK batsmen created such ruckus on the field that the bowlers of the opposing team looked helpless. A huge crowd of local sports lovers had gathered to watch this title match.

Anik and Guddu’s stormy batting

The BSK team, which came to bat first in the match, surprised everyone and set a strong target of 168 runs in the stipulated 16 overs. Seeing such a big score in this limited overs game, it seemed that the competition would be tough. In fact, when the BPK team set out to chase this target, their start was very aggressive. The team’s star batsman Anik played a stormy inning of 68 runs in just a few balls, hitting fours and sixes all around the field.

Former assembly candidate and veteran Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mujahid Ali arrived as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of this grand final match. He distributed trophies and prizes to the players of the winning and runner-up teams. Encouraging the players, Mujahid Ali said that such events in rural and town areas provide an opportunity to local talents to progress.
