International Yoga Day: On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2026, a unique video of Jaldapara National Park in West Bengal is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, forest department employees are seen doing yoga sitting on the backs of elephants in the middle of a dense forest.


This yoga done amidst greenery all around and peaceful environment is attracting people’s attention. The video was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan on social media, after which it was viewed and liked by a large number of people.

In the viral video, it can be seen that forest workers are practicing yoga while sitting in a calm posture on the elephants. The video also features spectacular aerial views of the dense forests of Jaldapara National Park, showcasing the deep connection between nature and yoga.


Sharing the video, Parveen Kaswan wrote, “In some remote corner of the country, where harmony with nature and the heritage of generations is visible. Happy International Yoga Day.” People on social media have described this scene as an example of a beautiful combination of nature, wildlife conservation and yoga.

Meanwhile, International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praised the Yoga Day programs and said that this year’s theme “Yoga for Healthy Aging” inspires people to adopt yoga at every stage of life.


He said that regular yoga plays an important role in maintaining good physical and mental health. This viral video of Jaldapara also gives the same message that yoga is not just an exercise but a medium to connect with nature, discipline and a balanced lifestyle. This yoga practice done with elephants in the middle of the forest has become a memorable and inspiring sight for the people.
