County Ground Pitch Report

It is the first game of the tournament in Bristol, wherethe ground played host to the India Women vs England Women game, which the hosts won by 26 runs. The captain winning the toss will want to bat first as the ground is small and the wicket generally tends to favour the side batting first. Overcast conditions could give the seam bowlers some purchase, but once the ball gets old, the batters will get good value for their shots. The average first innings score at this venue is between 170 and 185.
