Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has responded sharply to social media users who criticised her for being unmarried and for her age.

She addressed the comments through her Instagram story. She shared screenshots of trolling messages posted by users.

One user wrote that she was “not the same anymore” and had “grown old.” The actress replied that change with time is natural. She said every person changes as they grow older.

She added that she is currently healthy, fit, and happy. She said personal well-being matters more than public criticism.

Another user commented that she should have married earlier so her children would now be grown. This remark triggered a strong reaction from her.

She questioned why people feel the need to impose outdated thinking on single women. She also asked why others judge personal life choices so harshly.

She further said that being married or unmarried does not define a person’s worth or happiness.

The actress added that every individual has the right to live life on their own terms without social pressure or judgment.

Her response has sparked discussion on social media. Many users supported her stance against age-shaming and criticism of personal life decisions.
