Google Down Server Error: Internet users were shocked on Monday morning when Google, the world’s largest search engine, suddenly stopped working for many people. Thousands of users in India complained that they were not able to access Google Search. For some people the website was not opening. Many users were seeing the message of Server Error.

Flood of complaints on Downdetector

Downdetector, which is an outage tracking platform, said that till 10:23 am, more than 3,300 complaints have been registered regarding Google not working. Out of which about 57% of the complaints were to Google Search and 28% of the users said that the content was not loading properly. Apart from this, 11% people were facing problem in accessing the website.

It is also being seen that the trend of #GoogleDown is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Regarding this, users also shared the screenshot and told that when they open Google, they are getting this message, “Server Error. We’re sorry, but it looks like there has been an internal server error processing your request. Our engineers have been informed and are working to fix the issue. Please try again later.”

In this era of social media, as soon as Google goes down, there is a flood of memes and funny posts on the internet. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Google.com is actually down,” one user wrote on X. I don’t remember the last time this happened.” While another user said jokingly, “Man, it is very rare for Google to be down. It seems now ‘all four horsemen’ Coming.” Apart from this, a Reddit user wrote, ‘For the first time in a very, very long time, I have seen Google down. To be honest, their track record is quite impressive.”

Service was restored within some time

The saving grace in all this chaos is that after the initial outage, the number of complaints started decreasing rapidly. Which simply means that Google had fixed the technical problem to a great extent. On this whole matter, tech experts believe that even a small technical glitch on such a big platform can affect millions of users around the world. This is why even a platform like Google being down for a few minutes becomes big news.
