IPL 2026: Amidst the excitement of IPL 2026, BCCI has released the schedule of playoff matches. Indian Premier League 2026 has now entered its decisive phase, where every match will make the path to the final easier. The playoff matches will start from May 26. Where will Qualifier 1 be held?

According to the playoff schedule released by BCCI, the first qualifier of IPL 2026 will be played on May 26 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. This match will be played between the top-2 teams of the points table and the winning team will directly enter the finals.

Where will Qualifier-2 be played

After this, on May 27, the eliminator match will be played at the New International Cricket Stadium i.e. Mullanpur in New Chandigarh. In this match, the third and fourth ranked teams of the points table will face each other. The winning team will reach Qualifier-2 and the journey of the loser will end here.

Talking about Qualifier-2, this match will also be played in New Chandigarh. That match will be played on May 29 between the team that lost in Qualifier-1 and the team that won in Eliminator. The winning team in this match will become the second finalist.

When and where will the final be held?

The final of IPL 2026 will be played on May 31 at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium. Last year also, the final match of IPL 2025 was played on the same ground, in which Royal Challengers Bangalore won their first IPL title.
