Easy method of making butter from curd

  • First of all, put thick curd in a deep vessel. Keep in mind that the curd should not be too thin. Light sour and thick curd is best for butter.
  • Now start beating the curd well with the help of a churner, spoon, hand whisk or mixer. Keep stirring it continuously for a few minutes. Gradually you will see that the texture of curd will start changing.
  • Now add cold water little by little into it. By adding cold water the fat present in the curd starts separating. This is the most important step. After some time, small butter grains will start forming in the curd.
