New Delhi: The leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, has informed Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court that he will not be attending the proceedings related to the excise case, either personally or through legal representation, as stated by the party on Monday.

In his correspondence, Kejriwal expressed, "My faith in receiving justice from Justice Swarana Kanta has been shattered. Hence, I have chosen to adopt the path of Satyagraha as advocated by Mahatma Gandhi."

He emphasized that this decision was made after reflecting on his inner voice.

The former Chief Minister of Delhi also mentioned that he intends to retain the option to appeal to the Supreme Court regarding Justice Sharma's ruling.
