When a deficiency of 01 to 02 percent was found, a departmental inquiry was started and if the deficiency was more than 02 percent, the center in-charge was suspended and an FIR was registered.

If irregularities are found in the last two years 33 Food Inspectors and Officials Notices have been issued. In some cases, FIRs were registered and suspension action was also taken. This shows that the government is absolutely strict against corruption and negligence.

Rice has been disposed of as per the central pool target set by the Government of India. Due to low capacity of warehouses, time took longer in some cases, which created the possibility of drought. At present, the process of paddy lifting and auction is going on and the final assessment will be done after this.
