Manchester United prospect Kai Rooney has joined Triple S Sports Management, the same agency that represented his father, Wayne. The global firm is run by Wayne's long-time agent Paul Stretford, with the plans for Kai's development now seemingly evident.
Announcing his arrival, a statement on Instagram said: "Delighted to announce the signing of @kairooney.10 to Triple S Sports!". "We're excited to begin working with the Manchester United forward as he continues his journey in the game. A bright future ahead.
"Welcome to the team, Kai!". The United icon has previously spoken about his son's prospects in footballand outlined his expectations clearly.

Speaking via the BBC last year, he said: "He has great coaches at Manchester United, so I take a stand off approach. I speak to him, but for me it's all about his mentality and his mindset, to make sure he keeps enjoying it – that's the main thing for me."
Rooney Sr's comments regarding those guiding his son, which includes former colleague Darren Fletcher, were validated recently by their advancement to the under-18s Premier League Cup final. Rooney found the net in the 3-1 semi-final success against West Ham United, with the contest for silverware scheduled for next month at Selhurst Park versus Crystal Palace.
Fellow United talent JJ Gabriel, who has participated in first-team training sessions, also scored with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe present at Carrington.
Michael Carrick has also attended several academy games since becoming interim head coach, but he was preoccupied with readying the first-team for a Premier League showdown against Newcastle United.
16-year-old Rooney seems to be handling everything calmly despite the immense pressure that could weigh on his shoulders, with his Mum Coleen recently shedding light on this.
Speaking to The Times, she said: "He's lived it from a young age. "When we used to go to matches when he was younger, he'd get a lot of people coming up saying, 'Oh, are you Wayne Rooney's son?'
"But he's strong-minded, always has been. I've got no worries in the way he deals with it. "It's nice that we know what to expect.
"And we can try to guide him. Obviously, it's his life, his passion. He can decide what he wants to do. But I think it's good we've got the knowledge."
