Alejandro Garnacho was the hero for Chelsea, who needed extra-time to get past Wrexham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The hosts took the lead on 18 minutes when a long ball undid the Blues' high line. Robert Sanchez was too hesitant against Sam Smith, who rolled the ball past the Spanish goalkeeper and into the bottom corner.
Somewhat against the run of play, Chelsea levelled with not long until half-time. An unfortunate own goal from goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo after some good work from Liam Delap and Garnacho in the build up.
It took a while for the second half to get going but once it did, it was end-to-end football. Callum Doyle put Wrexham ahead just moments before Josh Acheampong finished excellently into the top corner to level the tie for Chelsea, meaning the tie went to extra-time.
In stoppage time, Wrexham were reduced to 10 men with George Dobson taking out Garnacho. There was no separating the two teams after 90 minutes and the tie went to extra-time.
In the first half of extra-time, Garnacho gave Chelsea the advantage for the first time in the tie. Dario Essugo, a second-half substitute, delivered a fine cross to the Argentine, whose volley was excellent and left Okonkwo with no chance in the Wrexham goal.
Wrexham thought they equalised in the second half of extra-time with Lewis Brunt scoring from a corner, but he was adjudged to have been offside after a VAR check. Joao Pedro put the tie beyond any reasonable doubt with a slick finish in stoppage time of extra-time.
Chelsea are - just about - in the hat for Monday evening's quarter-final draw after a hard-fought victory in north Wales. Bobby Vincent was at the Racecourse Ground to bring you the full Chelsea player ratings:

Robert Sanchez - Back in the side after being dropped on Wednesday. Not a great start for the Blues goalkeeper, who was too hesitant when a long ball beat his defence's high line. Looks like a player whose confidence is shot at the moment. 4
Josh Acheampong - Played at right wing-back. He was comfortable in possession as always, but felt as if he was wasted out on the wing. He moved into a more orthodox right-back role in the second half. A fine finish from the teenager to get Chelsea level minutes after Wrexham went 2-1 ahead. 7
Tosin Adarabioyo - His first start since January 17. Wrexham were often looking to find Smith with a long direct ball, something Tosin had to deal with a few times. However, he couldn't deal with it on 18 minutes, and was too slow on the turn. 5
Benoit Badiashile - The Frenchman was far from convincing for Smith's goal. Him and Tosin were caught ball-watching a bit and were then too slow on the turn. Not a convincing performance. 5
Mamadou Sarr - His third start this season. One thing you notice about the Senegalese defender is how calm and composed he is in possession. Did well out there. 6
Jorrel Hato - Slightly different role than usual. Thought it suited him. Hato would drift into the middle and operate as a No.10 when Chelsea had the ball, so it wasn't too different to what he has done under Liam Rosenior. Thought the Dutchman did really well and his recovery pace helped Chelsea on multiple occasions when Wrexham threatened to break. 7
Romeo Lavia - The Belgian looked rusty. It's understandable given it was his first start in more than four months, but rusty nonetheless. The main thing for Lavia is getting through his playing time without an injury. Hopefully that's the case. There didn't appear to be one. 4
Andrey Santos - He had a really good chance just before the half-time whistle to play through Garnacho but made a mess of his pass. Other than that, some neat and tidy play in the middle of the park without standing out too much. 6
Pedro Neto - Neto was frustrated out there. In a similar position to the one he occupied in the win against Hull City last month, where he scored a hat-trick, he was unable to produce anything meaningful in the attacking third. 5
Alejandro Garnacho - The Argentine almost scored for the equaliser, but unfortunately for him, it will go down as an own goal from Okonkwo. Garnacho looked lively and probably Chelsea's most likely player in the final third. And that proved in extra-time, with a clinical volley to win the game for the visitors. 8
Liam Delap - Up until Chelsea equalised, it was a frustrating Delap performance. The No.9, though, made the equalising goal with his strength, power and vision. He laid the ball off to Garnacho, whose shot fortuitously deflected into the back of the net. 6
Marc Guiu (on for Sarr 58') - Brought on to try and add some attacking impetus for the visitors. Unfortunately, wasn't able to get too involved. Maybe should have done better with a close-range effort in the first half of extra-time. 5
Dario Essugo (on for Lavia 65') - First appearance of the season for the Portuguese midfielder. Great to see him back out there. A fantastic cross to Garnacho for the winning goal. 7
Marc Cucurella (on for Hato 65') - Given a bit of a rest with the trip to Paris next week, but he still made an appearance in north Wales. Was doing his best to try and push Chelsea up the pitch, both in and out of possession. 6
Malo Gusto (on for Acheampong 85') - Brought some energy and legs to Chelsea's right-hand side. 6
Joao Pedro (on for Delap 85') - Brought on to try and win Chelsea the game. Played a lovely ball that almost set up a late goal for Neto. Did a really good job playing in the No.10 role behind Guiu and then scores a lovely goal in stoppage time of extra-time. 8
Jesse Derry (on for Neto 90+10) - Great to see him get another chance. Took a whack moments after coming on the pitch. 6
