The mere mention of a python can send shivers down anyone's spine. Imagine the chaos that ensues when one unexpectedly appears in a populated area. Such a scenario unfolded in Bagaha, located in West Champaran, Bihar, where the sighting of a python in a residential neighborhood triggered widespread panic. The enormous snake, measuring approximately 20 feet in length, was discovered behind a house, instilling fear among the local residents. Fortunately, some brave individuals managed to capture the python with great care and subsequently handed it over to the forest department. Since the incident, the villagers have been living in a state of anxiety.

The python was found behind the home of a local resident named Sanjay Kumar. This incident occurred in Ward 28 of the police jurisdiction. Over the past few months, several chickens and goats had mysteriously disappeared from the area, believed to have fallen prey to the python. Thankfully, no humans were harmed during this ordeal, and the capture of the snake has brought a sense of relief to the community.

The python had made its lair behind a house in a residential area of Bagaha, where it had been preying on local poultry and livestock. Sanjay Kumar reported that numerous animals had vanished from the neighborhood over the last six months, but the presence of such a large python had never crossed their minds. According to local councilor Ajay Nath, there was initial fear surrounding the python, but after some time, a few courageous individuals stepped up and managed to secure the snake. Ranger Manoj Kumar explained that pythons can be swept into various areas due to floodwaters.
