Liverpool boss Arne Slot has been told he will "100 percent be sacked" if he fails to lead the team into the Champions League.
The Reds lost for the ninth time in the Premier League on Tuesday night as bottom side Wolves scored in stoppage time to secure a memorable win. It leaves the Merseysiders in fifth, but Chelsea can go above them with a win on Wednesday.
Liverpool began the season with five wins from five and looked a good bet to retain their Premier League title. However they've fallen off a cliff since then with their campaign marred by inconsistencies despite a summer spend that exceeded £400million and twice saw them break the British transfer record.
Slot was dealing with hefty expectations but the defending champions will not only relinquish their crown, they could also miss out on Europe's elite competition and the riches that come with it.
Jamie Carragher has previously claimed the Dutchman "can't have a leg to stand on" if he misses out on the top five and now Jamie O'Hara is adamant he'll face the chop if he finishes sixth or lower.

The ex-Tottenham midfielder insists last season's success counts for nothing as he said on Sky Sports: "He's in big trouble Arne Slot, he needs to get some results, he needs to get Champions League football. If he doesn't get Champions League he'll be sacked, 100 percent. You can't keep Arne Slot just because he won the Premier League last season.
"You have to have Champions League football, they spent a lot of money, got top players. We're talking about five teams being in the Champions League and Liverpool aren't one of them, Arne Slot can't be the manager."
Liverpool have won just four of the 11 league games they've played since the turn of the year and O'Hara doesn't see huge scope for improvement in this team - suggesting this is now their level.
"I don't see how he's going to turn it around, that's my concern," he claimed. "I don't see a team thats all of a sudden going to start playing really good football again. Can they be the team they were last season, where they were hard to beat? I wouldn't say they were breathtaking to watch, but they were a good side in a poor league, but I don't see an Arne Slot team getting better than what they are right now."
