Outgoing Manchester United star Casemiro is in talks to sign for Inter Miami on a free transfer, despite Cristiano Ronaldo's pleas for him to join Al-Nassr. Casemiro, 33, confirmed last month that he'll be leaving United upon the expiry of his contract in June.
The Brazilian has this season enjoyed a resurgence at Old Trafford but is entering his twilight years. Casemiro was put up for sale by the Red Devils in late 2023, but he's managed to remain a key player under Erik ten Hag, Ruben Amorim and now Michael Carrick.
That's when the midfielder became heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, specifically Al-Nassr. A switch to Riyadh would see him link up with former team-mate Ronaldo, who pushed for the transfer.
Now, The Sun report that Inter Miami, who are co-owned by United legend David Beckham, are keen on signing Casemiro. The ex-Real Madrid star is said to have made use of United's 14-day break without a game to fly to Miami and scout the area alongside his wife, Anna.

Casemiro would become the 28th player to have played alongside both Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who signed a new contract with the MLS champions last year. The Brazil captain, who's set to lead Carlo Ancelotti's side at the World Cup in North America, has several options on the table.
Brazilian giants Sao Paulo are reportedly willing to offer Casemiro a two-year deal with an option to work for the club once he retires. Meanwhile, Saudi remains a live option.
Casemiro is one of United's highest-earning players, pocketing around £325,000 per week. In January, the 33-year-old announced his departure in an emotional statement on social media.

"I will carry Manchester United with me throughout my entire life," Casemiro said. "From the first day that I walked out at this beautiful stadium, I felt the passion of Old Trafford and the love that I now share with our supporters for this special club.
"It is not time to say goodbye; there are many more memories to create during the next four months. We still have a lot to fight for together; my complete focus will, as always, remain on giving my everything to help our club to succeed."
